Having read Maria Amor previously, I expected better writing. I loved the premise and the world building but found the writing to be slow paced and unnecessarily ponderous. Everything was analyzed by Mia and a explanation given. I almost couldn't finish this book due to boredom. Even the action scenes were slow. I was sadly disappointed. 😖Product details

This story was "not my "cup of tea". I found it dreary, tedious and boring. Not at all what I was expecting.
I enjoyed the characters and the storyline. It was not the usual dragon romance. I wonder if the author plans another book to continue the story.
Sorry but that's what I feel. On and on and on. No emotions, very dry. I could only get half way thru and there still wasn't anything.
This book was okay, the story was a little forced and drawn out but it worth finishing. I felt like the story just didn't get moving until the very last chapter. I usually love Maria Amor books but this one was a miss for me.
Maria Armor did wonderful job on this dragon shifter romance.
I love dragons and I enjoyed this story with great characters, romance and intrigue. It was very different from most Dragon shifter stories. I always enjoy the books from this author but this was a little darker than most. I look forward to more of her books. *I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy.*
This was the first book of this author that I've read and sorry to say that I had to give up on it in chapter 3 and making it that far was a struggle. I don't like stories that the characters just talk and talk inside their heads or there is too much back history not necessry for the story. So I was skipping pages a lot in the first three chapters. The story line was not very good and to me the main characters lacked any depth and he, for a dragon seemed very whimpy. Dragon stories are my favourite but this didn't do it for me.
